Self-exclude from online gambling in New Zealand
One verified identity. Documented self-exclusion requests to every gambling operator in scope. Downloadable evidence report.
Acceptance is decided by each operator. GSE documents every request — it does not guarantee exclusion or refunds.
GSE provides a documented, legally-signed self-exclusion pathway for residents of New Zealand. After attestation and signed authorization, GSE submits self-exclusion requests on your behalf to every gambling operator in scope — including offshore operators that are not covered by local schemes.
Each request is preserved as an immutable audit record: operator contacted, date/time sent, delivery method, request content version, delivery status and operator response. You can download an evidence report at any time.
GSE does not replace national schemes. If you are in New Zealand and a national scheme exists, you should register there as well. GSE extends coverage to operators outside those schemes.
