Payment & Refund Policy

Last updated: 8/1/2026

This policy explains what you pay for, how billing works and when a refund is — and is not — available. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What you are paying for

GSE is a service that prepares, signs, sends and tracks self-exclusion requests to gambling operators on your behalf. You are paying for that work — the preparation and delivery of your legally worded requests and the ongoing tracking of operator responses.

You are not paying for a guaranteed outcome. We cannot force any operator to close or block an account. Whether an operator honours a request is entirely their decision under their own licence conditions. A declined or ignored request is not a service failure and is not grounds for a refund.

2. Prices and currency

  • One-time exclusion — $49 USD, charged once.
  • Ongoing protection — $9 USD per month, recurring until cancelled.

All prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees that we do not control and cannot refund.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you confirm you are the authorised holder of the payment method used.

4. Immediate performance and waiver of withdrawal right

Delivery of the service begins immediately after payment: your signed authorisation is generated and your requests are queued for sending to operators. By completing checkout and signing the authorisation, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal (including the 14-day right under EU/UK consumer law) once delivery has begun.

5. No refunds once requests have been sent

The one-time fee is non-refundable once your self-exclusion requests have been sent. The work is irreversible: your details have been transmitted to operators and cannot be recalled. We do not offer refunds because:

  • you changed your mind or want to gamble again;
  • an operator declined, ignored or delayed your request;
  • you were still able to access an account somewhere;
  • you did not use, or stopped using, your account;
  • you signed up with incorrect personal details.

6. When we do refund

We will refund in full, without argument, if:

  • you were charged twice for the same purchase (duplicate transaction);
  • a technical fault on our side meant no request was ever sent and we cannot fix it;
  • you were charged after a valid cancellation of your subscription;
  • a refund is required by mandatory law in your country.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Subscriptions and cancellation

The $9/month plan renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account — your protection continues until the end of the paid period, and you will not be charged again. Cancellation is not retroactive: we do not refund months that have already been billed and served, and part-months are not pro-rated.

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it. Continued failure suspends ongoing monitoring and new-operator sends; already-sent exclusions remain with the operators.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — most issues are resolved in hours. If a chargeback is filed against a legitimately delivered service, we will submit the signed authorisation, timestamps and delivery logs as evidence, and we may suspend the account until the dispute is resolved.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your data at any time from your privacy settings. Deleting your account does not create a right to a refund of fees already paid, and does not withdraw exclusion requests already delivered to operators.
